If it seems as though smokers are popping up in the strangest places these days, it’s not your imagination. Restaurants, movie theatres, grocery stores and just about any other public place you can think of has seen an increase in what appears to be “smoking”. But appearances can be deceiving. When you take a good look at those lighting up, you’ll notice that they aren’t really “smoking” at all. This new “e-cigarette” is actually a battery operated personal vaporizer. The nicotine is inhaled through a vaporized solution that can be flavored to the individuals personal preference. The e-cigarettes offer the advantages of eliminating second hand smoke and they do not contain any tobacco. They are not currently restricted by any US smoking laws, leaving people free to light up pretty much anywhere.
Many smokers find that not only are these e-cigarettes healthier and less expensive than their tobacco counterparts, but they can also be a wonderful aid in breaking the addiction to nicotine. This non-flammable smoking replacement also has the advantage of not leaving behind a messy cigarette butt to dispose of. These e-cigarettes do run on a battery, so there is no longer a need for a lighter and they can be charged right from the USB port on your computer.
